Bixby’s Barkery
A Midwestern, dog-loving woman dreamed up a pet-friendly treat company that would bring healthier, homemade treats to the market. Since this is a start-up my idea was to create something simple yet bold and fun that would be easy for them to produce and bring to market even with a minimal budget.
I wanted the logo to be unique and quirky like every dogs personality so I chose to create a custom typeface that feels a little silly and happy at the same time. It was important to keep the homemade aspect in the packaging so I landed on a kraft pouch which is typically associated with being healthy and feels homemade. The bold sticker labels work really nicely as a pop of color against the kraft bag to showcase the branding and flavor variations. These will definitely pop in-store and are sure to be every dogs favorite treat!
