MoonShade Awning
Matthew and I met a bit serendipitously at a van life festival where my only intent going there was to volunteer to help a friend host the festival while having a fun time in the great outdoors of McCall, Idaho. During a Q&A talk at the festival, I had asked a question to the speaker and Matthew heard me mention I was a graphic designer. Little did I know there was a business owner there in need of design help, and after he introduced himself and showed me the MoonShade Awning prototype on his van, I was all in! Matthew is the definition of clients I love to work with — kind, passionate, trusting and open to new ideas.
I am honored to have had the privilege to help Matthew and Henry launch MoonShade and make their incredible awning available to the public. We started with their Kickstarter campaign page, and after being fully funded they were able to use all of the other marketing and branding assets we created together to get the MoonShade in people’s hands! From custom illustrations, packaging, fun hang tags and stickers, I had a blast working alongside Matthew and the team and I’m thrilled for them to have successfully launched a new brand from the ground up, backed by believers of their product.
